Questions I'd like to see raised (for starters):

  1. What integrations is SAP offering for SocialText and other social software as standard?
  2. Assuming the answer is in the positive: Where does SAP think such integrations would deliver the most value in the shortest time?
  3. If in the negative, why not?
  4. What's the progress on BusinessOne in terms of market share capture?
  5. Please provide some geographical and industry specifc colour on that information?
  6. Can SAP say something about the extent to which it is using open source and so-called Web 2.0 style software and where that is delivering the greatest benefit?
  7. Does SAP see value in offering certain of its applications as on-demand services as a way of proliferating customer ecosystems? I'm thinking of how large enterprises might wish to enfold suppliers and customers who are further down the value chain to those companies that cannot necessarily justify an SAP offering but who need an easy way to communicate with their customers who in turn many well be SAP customers. )It's the Last Mile idea in telecomms spun to SAP offerings.)
  8. If SAP does see value in this approach, has it identified services or industries where this might be piloted if it hasn't already happened and if so can the company say which applicaion areas are under review from this perspective?

I'm sure others will follow as the event unfolds and as you guys get stuck into the execs :)

I've put my commentary on this project at my place
